PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode foil for a capacitor and the capacitor using the same wherein a film of a high dielectric constant is provided with an excellent capacitance characteristic. SOLUTION: In the electrode foil for the capacitor and the capacitor using the same, an aluminum foil has at least a film which has titanium oxide containing aluminum of 1 at.% to 25 at.% as an additional element.
