PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient elevator load test method using adjustment weight included in a balance weight with less labor by reducing the transfer work of the adjustment weights. SOLUTION: In the elevator load test method, the functional test of an elevator is carried out while changing the load on a car by successively transferring adjustment weights 5 in the balance weight 4 on an upper face 2aa of the car in the load test of the elevator, and successively returning the adjustment weights transferred on the upper face of the car to the balance weight side.
