PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel drum for a game machine, having low moment of inertia and high heat resistance. SOLUTION: This reel drum 2 of a slot machine includes: a reel belt 21 where a plurality of patterns are drawn at predetermined spaces; and a wheel 22, the circular peripheral part of which is provided with a sticking surface 221a where the reel belt 21 is stuck along the outer periphery. The wheel 22 is made of mold-formed light metal. Since the light metal approximates a light specific gravity value, which is the characteristic of resin material and has an excellent mechanical strength such as hardness and rigidity, when the principal part of the reel drum 2 is formed of light metal, the strength is further advantageously used to simplify the shape of each part. Accordingly, the reel drum 2 can be reduced in weight, and the reel drum 2 having further lower moment of inertia, can be achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
