PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the upper structure of a football shoe capable of securing a sufficient ball speed according to the type of a kick and appropriately controlling the ball. SOLUTION: This upper structure of the football shoe is provided with an upper member U covering the front foot part of the shoe 1, and the surface layer part of the upper member U is divided into an instep kick area U<SB>p</SB>, an inside kick area U<SB>d</SB>and an in-front kick area U<SB>t</SB>.
