PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally perform control by a microcomputer, by normally operating the monitoring function of a CPU. SOLUTION: The control CPU transmits a permission signal to a CPU diagnostic system. The CPU diagnostic system transmits a control signal to an actuator control means. The actuator control means generates an actuator driving signal on the basis of the control signal from the control CPU and the CPU diagnostic system. An actuator monitoring means generates a monitor result OK signal on the basis of the actuator driving signal. The control CPU transmits a control transition signal to the CPU diagnostic system when a monitor OK signal is generated. Then, the CPU diagnostic system diagnoses abnormality of the CPU by communicating a question and a response with the control CPU. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
