FUEL CELL SYSTEM

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack and a system controller for controlling a current from the fuel cell stack. When the idle stop state of a fuel cell system is cancelled and thereafter the fuel cell system moves to an idle state, the system controller controls the current such that the fuel cell stack has a voltage less than or equal to a certain voltage which promotes deterioration of the fuel cell stack.
