PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent howling generated when a wireless microphone is put close to a speaker. SOLUTION: The wireless microphone public address system which receives a radio signal from the wireless microphone by a signal pickup, amplifies a sound signal extracted from the received signal, and outputs a sound from a plurality of speakers installed apart from each other is provided with signal pickups arranged nearby the respective speakers to detect reception intensities by the signal pickups separately, and inhibits or suppresses sound output of an extracted sound signal from a speaker arranged nearby a signal pickup having an excessive reception intensity in such a case.
