A digital broadcasting recording device and a recording method for the digital broadcasting recording device are provided to increase the satisfaction of a user by removing an advertisement and recording only a program which a user wants to record. A digital tuner receives a digital broadcasting signal of a channel selected by a user in a recording mode(60). An A/V decoder analyzes broadcasting information loaded in the digital broadcasting signal(62). A control unit judges whether the received broadcasting is a recorded object(64). If the received broadcasting is the recorded object, the control unit records the corresponding broadcasting(66). If the received broadcasting is not the recorded object, the control unit prevents the record of the corresponding broadcasting(68).
