摘要 An array substrate for an LCD and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve aperture ratio and brightness, by forming a first storage electrode of a polysilicon and a second storage electrode of a transparent conductive material. A first storage electrode(114) is formed on a substrate(101), wherein the first storage electrode is formed of a polysilicon. A gate insulating layer(117) is formed on the first storage electrode, and has a contact hole for exposing the first storage electrode. A common line(130) is connected to the first storage electrode through the contact hole. An interlayer insulating film(135) is formed on the common line, and has a first storage groove(159) for exposing the gate insulating layer corresponding to the first storage electrode. A passivation layer(155) is formed on the resultant substrate, and has a second storage groove for exposing the gate insulating layer together with the first storage groove. A second storage electrode(167) is formed on the exposed gate insulating layer, wherein the second storage electrode is formed of a transparent conductive material.
