A filter assembly of a water purifier is provided to simply separate a filter cap from a circular cap for reducing a time required to exchange filter cartridges without any professional skill. A filter assembly of a water purifier includes a head(10) mounted with a circular cap(20) at a lower part, a filter cap(30) fitted in a circular space of the circular cap and formed with an inlet and an outlet for water, and a filter cartridge(40) coupled with the filter cap and having a filter(42) for purifying the water. The circular cap has a plurality of coupling holes formed with stepped portions. Fixing elements(50) are disposed in the coupling holes for fixing the filter cartridge. An elastic element(60) surrounds the circular cap and the fixing elements for elastically fixing the fixing elements in the coupling holes. The filter cap has a plurality of coupling grooves(33) to which the fixing elements are fixed.
