<p>An apparatus and a method for transmitting media data are provided to allow a user to view a moving picture through a larger monitor or listen to music through a speaker without an additional connection line with a TV or a radio by wirelessly transmitting the moving picture or the music on a portable device to the FM radio or the TV installed in a vehicle. Media data on a source media output device are read(S300). The read media data are converted so as to have a data format corresponding to a target media data output device(S310). The converted media data are transmitted to the target media data output device by wireless(S320). The wireless transmission is performed through a broadcasting channel.</p> |
