An interlayer expansion joint structure for preventing crack when stacking bricks using an external wall reinforcing hardware and an installation method thereof are provided to preclude the stackable bricks from being cracked by mounting the expansion mortar screen between the stacked bricks. A structure of an interlayer expansion joint(42) for preventing crack when stacking bricks using an external wall reinforcing hardware where a space is left at the outside of a bearing wall(1) to stack an external wall(4), stackable bricks are vertically stacked by using mortar, a horizontal reinforcing bar(451) is inserted/hardened in the mortar at a joint(45) is composed of a brick support member(43) whose one side supports the rear surface of the both lower surfaces of the joint installed with the reinforcing bar and other side is fixed at the bearing wall to support the load of the stacked bricks; an expansion-absorption expansion mortar screen(421) installed between the brick support member and the stacked bricks; and a honey joint mounted between the lower bricks of the joint and the stacked bricks and installed with the expansion mortar screen at both sides to preclude the sagging of the reinforcing bar and to absorb the upward expansion from the lower stacked bricks.
