It is an object of the present invention to provide a power steering device implementing a compact system and further facilitating its assembling work. The cylindrical rotary cylinder 23 forming two operating oil chambers 21, 22 spaced apart in a circumferential direction between it and an inner surface of the cylindrical holder 20 is installed in the cylindrical holder 20 arranged coaxially on the steering shaft 14, the spool changing-over member 24 connected to the steering wheel is arranged within the rotary cylinder, the holder is provided with the operating oil supply hole 25 and the discharging hole 26, the rotary cylinder is formed with a pair of communicating holes 27, 28 communicating between each of the operating oil chambers and the inside part of the rotary cylinder, the spool changing-over member is formed with operating oil passages 29, 30 where the space part between it and the inner circumferential surface of the rotary cylinder is divided into two segments in a circumferential direction to form the operating oil passages 29, 30 connected with the supply hole and the discharging hole and there are provided a pair of partition walls 31, 32 changing over a communicating state between a pair of operating oil passages and a pair of communicating holes under its relative rotation with respect to the rotary cylinder.
