A weft tension holding device for a metallic yarn insect net weaving method is provided to safely weave the metallic yarn insect net and improve productivity by weaving a metallic yarn insect net using a Rapier loom comprising a tension holding device for maintaining weft at a predetermined tension and performing beating motion. In a Rapier loom(1) having a weft feeding part(1a) and a weft receiving part(1b) oppositely installed at both sides thereof to receive a weft fed from the weft feeding part in the weft receiving part and bind the weft with a warp by hitting a body(2), a weft tension holding device for a metallic yarn insect net weaving method is characterized in that: the weft feeding part comprises a guide(30) and a pressing device(4) installed between metallic yarn feeding pipes(3,3a), wherein a spring is mounted on the guide, and the pressing device is driven by gearing such as a solenoid device or a hydraulic cylinder such as an air cylinder; and the weft receiving part comprises a pressurizing member formed as a polyurethane resin plate and a weft pressurizing member(6) made of a metallic material which are vertically installed, and an operating lever(6a) mounted on an operating shaft of the weft pressurizing member to complete beating motion by maintaining a predetermined tension until beating of a weft(W) is completed between the weft feeding part and the weft receiving part.
