A door for a drum-type washing machine is provided to remove the residual detergent and impurities and improve the reliability by integrally mounting plural friction projections in the transparent window. A door(70) for a drum-type washing machine is composed of: a transparent window(72) for showing the inside of a drum(30); a frame(74) combined at the outer peripheral surface of the transparent window; a transparent window(76) combined at the connecting surface of the frame and the transparent window; and plural friction projections(73) formed in the transparent window to cause friction to the laundry. A washing unit(80) is mounted between a water storage tub(20) and the cabinet installed at the outer peripheral surface of the drum so as to remove the detergent remaining at the friction projections after finishing the washing.
