AN ANTIFUNGAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING RESVERATROL HAVING ANTIFUNGAL ACTIVITY

摘要

An antifungal composition comprising resveratrol is provided to have excellent antifungal activity by inhibiting growth of pathogenic fungi and formation of hypha, destructing fungi cell thereof and stopping the cell cycle at S-phase, thereby being used as anti-fungal agents, additives for food preservation or additives for cosmetics. The antifungal composition comprises resveratrol having antifungal activity against pathogenic fungi as an effective ingredient. The pathogenic fungi are Candida albicans, Trichosporon beigelii, Saccharomyces cerevisiae or Aspergillus Flavus.
