A spindle frame moving apparatus of a skewer roaster is provided to regulate cooking state of food on a skewer, and to conveniently attach and detach a skewer rod from a spindle by turning and moving a spindle frame supporting the spindles in a skewer roaster body. Both support parts(1b) of a frame(1) for a spindle frame(10) are placed at side plates(12,12a) of a skewer roaster body, and combined by a hinge bolt(13) to turn the spindle frame in the skewer roaster body. A fixing unit is formed in the skewer roaster body to fasten the spindle frame. A ratchet gear(14) is fixed in the side plate, and a lever(16) is placed in a handle(15) of the support part. The lever is hinge-combined with a ratchet(17) by a pin, and the ratchet is hinge-combined with the support part by a pin. The ratchet is connected to the support part by a spring, and fitted to a gear groove of the ratchet gear to fix the spindle frame.
