A microfluidic chip for high-throughput distributing cells and a patch clamping lab-on-a-chip by using the same chip are provided to distribute cells to a certain desired position, and perform a series of processes from cell extraction to ion channel analysis of cells in one area. The microfluidic chip(200) for high-throughput distributing cells receives cells through the channels from the cell-supplying chamber by the centrifugal force, and contains traps designed by considering dynamics of equations: Fa = Ft*sintheta-Fr*costheta, N = Ft*costheta + Fr*sintheta, wherein Fa is the cell adsorption ability, N is a vertical drag, Ft is a force of tangent direction acting on the cells by change of rotation speed, Fr is a force of radius direction acting on the cells by the centrifugal force, and theta is an angle of trap. The patch clamping lab-on-a-chip contains: an extracellular fluid chamber having solution having identical ion concentration to the extracellular fluid; a trap chamber having traps; an intracellular fluid chamber having identical ion concentration to the intracellular fluid; and a poring channel for connecting the extracellular fluid chamber to the traps. |
