PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a decolored pattern of a denim cloth, without damaging the cloth, and capable of floating up the patterned part deep in dyed color even if the cloth is easily stretchable one, and a decolor-patterned denim product formed by the method. SOLUTION: This method for processing for forming the decolored pattern on the denim cloth or denim cloth product is characterized by pasting the one of the surfaces of a double-sided tape on the back surface of the denim cloth, pasting another surface of the double-sided tape with a template plate carved with a prescribed pattern, rubbing the surface of the denim cloth so as to press it to the template by a friction member having a flat surface part, then decoloring and washing with water.
