Also conteplated is a method for decreasing adsorption of glucose in a vertebrate, including mammal and bird, in the need thereof, AKG, AKG derivates or metabolites, AKG analogues or mixture thereof, for decreasing glucose adsorption as well as compositions for use in treatment. |
