PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cared person monitoring device, a monitoring device reader, a care management device, a caring person terminal device, a care support system using the same, and a care support method.

SOLUTION: The cared person monitoring device includes: a biological information detecting means; a detection control means; a detected information storage means; a radio communication means; and a cared person specifying information storage means. The monitoring device reader includes: a radio communication control means; a reader specifying information storage means; a radio communication means; and a line communication means. The care management device includes: an information processing means; a line communication means; a terminal communication means and a care information storage means. The caring person terminal device includes: a communication means; and a display means. The caring person terminal device further includes: a warning means and an information requesting means. The care support system and care support method are the system and the method using the cared person monitoring device, the monitoring device reader, the care management device and the caring person terminal device.
