PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of placing a lower blowoff port in a sealed state in the case of operating the air conditioner having upper and lower blowoff ports, only with the upper blowoff port, and moreover making the sealed state visible. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises the upper and lower blowoff ports 6, 7; a suction port 2 between the upper and lower blowoff ports 6, 7; a heat exchanger 3 provided in an air duct 15 connecting the upper and lower blowoff ports 6, 7 to the suction port 2: blower fans 4, 5 for delivering air heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger 3, to the upper and lower blowoff ports 6, 7 respectively; an opening/closing plate 8 swinging around a rotary shaft 11 to open/close the tip part of the lower blowoff port 7; and a cam 9 swinging around a rotary shaft 12 within a recess 13 used as a cam operating space formed facing an air duct 15B, to press and fix the opening/closing plate 8 located in a position to close the lower blowoff port 7, from the back face.
