PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter lighting circuit capable of detecting lamp failure certainly by a simple circuit without disconnecting output to a lamp. SOLUTION: A lamp failure detection circuit 50 is respectively connected to a plurality of lamps 10. Output of the lamp failure detection circuit 50 is connected to an input of a light-control control circuit 40. Output of the light-control control circuit 40 is connected to an input of a light-control circuit 30, and the output of the light-control circuit 30 is connected to an inverter circuit 20. When any one of lamps 10 has a lamp failure, the lamp failure detection circuit 50 outputs a detection signal. The light-control control circuit 40 outputs a feedback signal FV upon receiving the detection signal. The light-control circuit 30 decreases output of the inverter circuit 20 according to the feedback signal FV. As a result, since the luminance of a normal lamp 10 having no lamp failure is reduced, the lamp failure can be detected certainly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
