PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of accurately regulating the turning of an operation ring and achieving the reduction of the number of parts by regulating the turning of the operation ring by using part of a diaphragm device. SOLUTION: The lens barrel 10 is equipped with: a lens barrel body 12; lens frames 24 and 34 movably supported by the lens barrel body 12 in an optical axis P direction; a focus ring 20 and a zoom ring 30 turnably supported by the lens barrel body 12 and moving the lens frames 24 and 34 in the optical axis P direction; and the diaphragm device 16 attached to the lens barrel body 12. The focus ring 20 and the zoom ring 30 abut on the turning regulation part 64 of the diaphragm device 16, so that their turning is regulated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
