PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam-column connection method according to which stress imposed on a beam-column joint portion can be distributed, and the height of a beam can be reduced, and to provide a beam-column structure. SOLUTION: According to the method, a predetermined area is defined by first beams connected to a column and second beams connected to the respective first beams, and reinforced concrete floor slabs or steel plate members are arranged in part of the predetermined area around the column or in the entire predetermined area around the column in four directions. Thus an interval between the first and second beams is connected together in one body, and therefore the stress imposed on the first beams is distributed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
