PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve soil while securing water communication performance of a constructed area. SOLUTION: This soil improving method improves the construction ground by preparing a plurality of rotary body-shaped (cylindrical body-shaped) improving bodies 1 by mixing soil of the ground to be constructed and a solidifying material. When preparing the plurality of improving bodies 1 in an area for forming a water communication part 3 by determining the area for forming the water communication part (a water channel 3), a small area 1c of a dimension in the radial direction is formed in a part of an individual rotary body. The soil of the construction ground is left outside in the radial direction of the small area 1c of the dimension in the radial direction, and an area of leaving the soil of the construction ground is continued over the area for forming the water communication part 3. The mutual adjacent improving bodies 1 are integrally constructed in areas 1a and 1b except for the small area of the dimension in the radial direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
