An integrated type key system about auto-charging and magnetic field communication and a control method thereof are provided to serve as an immobilizer using the magnetic field, to remove a need of replacing a key battery by automatically charging the battery of a vehicle key, and to enhance security and convenience by using the key's own number and automatically regulating a driver's seat. An integrated type key system about auto-charging and magnetic field communication comprises an integrated type key(10) serving as an immobilizer and charging electricity by using the magnetic field communication; a base station(30) receiving the key's own number by communicating with the key through magnetic field(20) and generating signals for starting a vehicle and for adjusting a seat if the key number agrees with a preset key number; an engine electronic control unit(40) starting an engine if the key inserted into a key hole is disposed at a starter position only when the starting signal is transmitted from the base station; and a seat unit(50) automatically adjusting position of the seat correspondingly to the key's own number if the seat-adjusting signal is allowed from the base station.
