A structure for a dust bag of a vacuum cleaner is provided to keep regular airflow in the dust bag, to improve suction efficiency of foreign matters, and to prevent breakage of a motor by restricting foreign matters from being contacted to an inner skin layer having a mesh support layer. A dust bag(160) of a vacuum cleaner includes an assembling piece(162) combined with a body of the vacuum cleaner to regulate movement of the dust bag in a dust collecting unit, an inlet(162') formed in the assembling piece to move foreign matters from the body into the dust bag by suction force of a motor, an outer skin layer(164) communicated with the inlet and mounted in a lower part of the assembling piece to form an outer form of the dust bag, an inner skin layer(166) made of ventilative material in the outer skin layer to filter fine foreign matters, and a support layer(168) formed of mesh type in the inner skin layer to restrict large foreign matters from being contacted to the inner skin layer. The support layer is made of elastic plastic, and composed of plural layers.
