<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run capable of preventing a shift and movement caused by stress at the time of opening and closing a glass. <P>SOLUTION: Extruded portions 2, 4 and a molded portion 6 which form the glass run are constituted according to various situations. The glass run is attached to sashes DS1, DS2 by fitting. An insert member 21 made of PP is embedded into a base bottom so as to mate with a rear vertical edge 32 of the molded portion 6. For the attachment state of the glass run, a locking protrusion 23 which is protruded from the bottom base is brought into contact with or approximated to the upper edge of the sash DS2 to stop the sash DS2.
