<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoded data converting method in which a conversion-process speed is raised by eliminating a re-encoding process in interpolating given data in encoded data. <P>SOLUTION: The encoded data converting method is one for converting encoded image data.
