A plasma display panel is provided to enhance a light room contrast and diffuse uniformly plasma discharge to a discharge space by changing a shape of an auxiliary electrode. Two substrates and a sealant are coupled with each other in order to form a sealed space. A barrier rib(120) is formed between the substrates in order to define a part of discharge cells. A plurality of address electrodes are formed on one of opposite faces of the substrates. A plurality of bus electrodes(130) are formed on one of the opposite faces of the substrates in order to form a part of sustain electrodes. The sealed space is filled with discharge gas and phosphors. One of the bus electrodes is formed with main bus electrodes(132,132') and an auxiliary bus electrode(136).
