IMAGING APPARATUS WITH IMAGE BLUR PREVENTING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact imaging apparatus which can be incorporated in an apparatus such as a cellular phone and has an image blur preventing function.

SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus with the image blur preventing function has: a camera housing; camera modules (22 and 24) equipped with a lens for imaging (22a) and an imaging device (24a); elastic supporting members(26 and 28) elastically supporting the camera module with respect to the camera housing; actuators (34 and 36) making thrust for moving the camera module act on the camera module; sensors (38 and 40) detecting shake to the stationary space of the camera housing; and a control means (42) actuating the actuator based on the results of detection by the sensors and suppressing the shake of the optical axis of the lens for imaging to the stationary space.
