PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TV (Television) signal receiving device, receiving both of the real signal of intermediate frequency and the complex signal of a base band while receiving a digital television signal optimum for connection to existing different tuners. SOLUTION: The device for receiving the digital television signal x(t) coping with a wireless real signal s(t) includes an input unit for a real signal I and the same for an imaginary part signal Q. The input unit 10 is connected to a correction stage 20 and a frequency conversion stage 30. The device 2 comprises a means 42 for controlling the operation of the device 2 in accordance with the type of the received signal x(t) so that the device 2 inhibits the correction stage 20 when the received signal x(t) is the real signal while the device 2 inhibits the conversion stage 30 when the received signal x(t) is not a real but a complex signal.
