PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiprojection display capable of suppressing the occurrence of display deviation between adjacent projected images when an object is moved at a high speed in a display image or the like and capable of suppressing deterioration in the display characteristics of a moving image due to long picture rewriting time. SOLUTION: In the multiprojection display capable of constituting a large screen by tiling-projecting a plurality of projected images projected from a plurality of projectors to a projection surface; all electrooptical modulation devices in the plurality of projectors are n-time speed electrooptical modulation devices capable of performing write scanning n times in one frame, and each of the projectors is provided also with an irradiation light quantity control device for controlling the light quantity of irradiation light so that an image forming area of the electro-optical modulation device is not irradiated with light from a light source at least during the first write scanning period out of n times of write scanning.
