PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide irrigation equipment of a water-retentive pavement body, which can suppress a rise in the temperature of the surface of the pavement body by making the water-retentive pavement body efficiently absorb water and evaporating water from the surface of the pavement body. SOLUTION: Porous pipes 10 for irrigation, which are formed in such a manner that the water oozes to the outside when the water is supplied into the porous pipe, are laid in a prescribed area, and water-retentive blocks 14 are laid all over the porous pipes 10, so that the water-retentive pavement body 12 can be constituted. The water oozing out from the porous pipe 10 is absorbed by the water-retentive block 14, and the water is evaporated from the surface of the water-retentive block, so that the temperature of the surface of the pavement body can be restrained from rising. A groove 24 for housing the porous pipe is formed in the undersurface of the water-retentive block 14 which is positioned on the porous pipe 10; the porous pipe 10 is housed in the groove; and a recessed cross-section impervious frame 26, which inhibits the water from oozing out from the porous pipe 10 and flowing out from an opening of the groove, is fitted into the opening of the groove 24 on the downside of the porous pipe 10.
