<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a printing image on a rotary three-dimensional body in desired printing resolution, even when a web speed of a surface section to be printed facing to a printing unit changes.SOLUTION: A method for forming a printing image on a rotary three-dimensional body, is provided with an inkjet printing unit for printing by a predetermined printing clock, the rotary three-dimensional body and a motor for driving rotation of the rotary three-dimensional body, and a basic frequency f(t) for driving the motor is set, and the motor is driven by the basic frequency f(t), and an average diameter Rof the rotary three-dimensional body is set. When rotating the rotary three-dimensional body, a diameter variationΔR(t) of the rotary three-dimensional body is determined, and a correction value k(t) to the printing clock of the inkjet printing unit is calculated by k(t)=1+ΔR(t)/R, and the inkjet printing unit is driven by a frequency f(t) to the printing clock, that is, f(t)=f(t)×k(t).</p> |
