PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a deoxyribonucleic acid, by which the deoxyribonucleic acid can simply be operated without damaging the deoxyribonucleic acid, to provide a device for operating the polymer, and to provide a sample cell. SOLUTION: This method for operating the deoxyribonucleic acid has a process for focusing and irradiating laser beams 8A on cells 60 suspended in a solution to catch the cells, a process for transferring the caught cells to a low salt concentration solution to break the cell membranes with an osmotic pressure, and a process for transferring the cell membrane pieces to a prescribed solution in a state that the broken cell membrane pieces 62 are caught with the focused and irradiated laser beams and in a state that the deoxyribonucleic acid 70 exposed from the cells is adhered to the cell membrane pieces.
