PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small air conditioner with a filter cleaning function for automatically cleaning up dust on a filter. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is composed by respectively arranging a filter 4, a heat exchanger 6 and an air fan 5 in an air passage connecting inlets 2 formed in a front upper part and an upper surface of a body 1 to an outlet 3 formed in a front lower part thereof, and by forming a dust removal means 11 for removing dust on the filter 4. The dust removal means 11 is composed of: a dust suction part 13 formed on the windward side of the filter 4; a suction fan part 14 arranged in a side surface space in the body 1; and a suction duct part 15 connecting the dust suction part 13 to the suction fan part.
