<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination structure of a timepiece having excellent assembleability corresponding to miniaturization of the timepiece. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal cell support frame 11 for holding a liquid crystal display panel 5 and a light guide plate 6 is disposed on the upper surface side of a driving circuit substrate 3 on which a light emitting element 1 is mounted, and a reflecting sheet 12 is disposed on the back side of the light guide plate 6. One end of the reflecting sheet 12 is folded, and a reflecting surface 12a to emission light from the light emitting element 1 is formed. The liquid crystal cell support frame 11 is constituted of a white member and formed as a reflecting surface. The emission light from the light emitting element 1 is reflected repeatedly and propagated in a light guide path constituted of the folded part (reflecting surface) 12a of the reflecting sheet 12, an inner wall part 11a of the liquid crystal cell support frame 11 facing thereto, an inclined plane 6a (reflecting sheet 7) provided on one end of the light guide plate 6, the light guide plate 6 inside, and the reflecting sheet 12 on the back side of the light guide plate 6, and then emitted from the light guide plate 6 surface toward the upside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
