PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an information processor for quickly removing an external device by a simple operation. SOLUTION: A docking station 20 connectable to a computer 10 is provided with an undock switch 21, and when the undock switch 21 is operated by a user, an EC/KBC 170 detects that the undock switch 21 has been operated, and notifies a system BIOS of an event showing that the removal request of the docking station 20 has been generated. The system BIOS notifies an operating system of an event showing that the removal request of the docking station 20 has been generated. The operating system executes device removal processing for setting the system environment of the computer 10 so that the docking station 20 is removable from the computer main body 11.
