PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet clutch device capable of efficiently supplying oil to a clutch engagement portion in an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: This wet clutch device 10 in which the clutch engagement portion 20 is pressed when a piston 22 is moved forward, includes a lubricant outflow opening 29 formed on an outer peripheral face of a sun gear shaft 16, an opening portion 50 formed on an inner peripheral face of the piston 22, a discharge opening 52 formed on a position opposite to the clutch engagement portion 20, of the piston 22, and an oil passage 54 connecting the opening portion 50 and the discharge opening 52 in the piston 22. The outflow opening 29 and the opening portion 50 are closed at a position where the piston 22 and the clutch engagement portion 20 are separated from each other, and a pressing termination position where the piston 22 and the clutch engagement portion 20 are pressed, and the outflow opening 29 and the opening portion 50 are connected in a process of moving the piston 22 forward to supply the lubricant from the discharge opening 52 to the clutch engagement portion 20.
