PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust sound reducing device of an internal combustion engine capable of properly reducing an exhaust sound generated from a moving cylinder with a simple constitution, even if operation of a predetermined cylinder is rested among a plurality of cylinders. SOLUTION: This exhaust sound reducing device has an aggregation exhaust passage for aggregating exhaust passages connected to a plurality of cylinders, and a cutoff part arranged in the exhaust passages connected to a resting cylinder resting under a predetermined condition and cutting off exhaust gas passing through the inside of the exhaust passages. A distance between an exhaust passage aggregation part having a plurality of exhaust passages connected to the aggregation exhaust passage and the cutoff part, is set on the basis of a specific frequency of the exhaust sound generated when the resting cylinder is rested, and when the operation of the predetermined cylinder is rested, the exhaust passages up to the exhaust passage aggregation part from a place for arranging the cutoff part, function as a side branch.
