METHOD FOR ARRANGING ZAPPING STREAMS IN MPE-FEC FRAME AND RECEIVER

Zapping streams concerning respective normal services are put into one burst and transmitted as a zapping burst. The zapping burst is transmitted for a period less than one second. A PID is uniquely given to the zapping burst. The zapping burst is associated with a normal service by using an IP source address, an IP destination address, or a port number. By thus transmitting a zapping stream, zapping is possible without greatly modifying the IP encapusulator on the transmitting side and the currently used receiver.
