<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jet generating device improving heat radiating performance while suppressing power consumption by optimizing the vibration frequency of a vibrator, and to provide electronic equipment mounted therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The jet generating device 10 comprises a casing 1 for supporting a vibration plate 3 in a vibrative manner and a driving mechanism 5 consisting of a voice coil motor, e.g., for driving the vibration plate 3. Thus, air in the casing 1 is discharged as a pulsating flow via a nozzle 2 to the outside of the casing 1 and the discharged air is blown to a heating element, not illustrated, to give heat radiation thereto. In this case, the driving mechanism 5 is driven with a frequency at which the impedance of the drive mechanism 5 is the maximum, and the heat resistance of a heat radiation system is thereby minimized.
