<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid lack of an image portion when contracting and thickening of the image portion when expanding, and to magnify an image by an arbitrary magnification rate including a decimal part. <P>SOLUTION: When the image is contracted and written into a frame memory, a second image portion is corrected by weight averaging a first image portion which lacks by contracting and a second image portion adjoining to this. When the image which is read out from the frame memory is magnified, the first image portion added by magnifying is generated by weight averaging two image portions existing before and after it. When the image is magnified, the image is magnified according to a first magnification rate of a range from 1 to 2, and magnified according to a second magnification rate of an integer, and thereby, the image which is magnified by a third magnification rate which is a product of the first and the second magnification rates is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
