PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glow plug with a combustion pressure detecting function easily managing fastening torque and properly detecting a change in combustion pressure in a wide range of fastening torque. SOLUTION: The glow plug 1000 with the combustion pressure detecting function comprises a first piezoelectric element 1400 and a second piezoelectric element 1500 engaged with a housing base end 1202 of a housing 1200 and with a center shaft 1300, respectively, and held thereon with axial compression preload. It is arranged in such a manner that, when the center shaft 1300 is displaced to the base end, one of the first piezoelectric element 1400 and the second piezoelectric element 1500 has increased axial preload and the other has reduced axial preload.
