PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sign post capable of effectively discharging rain water and preventing rain water from entering from an outlet. SOLUTION: In the sign post 1 in which an inlet 2 is formed in the front surface of a post body 11, the outlet 3 is formed in the rear surface of the post body 11 so as to oppose to the inlet 2, an outlet lid 4 is arranged pivotably outward around the lower end axis of the outlet 3, and the outlet 3 is opened and closed by pivoting the outlet lid 4, an inclined rain water receiving part 5a forming a decline toward outside is formed in the lower part of the post body 11 of the outlet 3 side in a longitudinal direction.
