<p>Biopsy forceps for an endoscope, which is one of treatment instruments for an endoscope, has an insertion section that is long and has a tightly wound coil, and has at the forward end of the insertion section a treatment section for treating a living body. A forward end section, continuous to the treatment section, of the coil of the insertion section is a soft section having lower hardness than the remaining section of the insertion section. The soft section is formed by annealing the forward end section of the coil.</p> |
