PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface device which enables a user to easily set a processing mode in a short time.

SOLUTION: The user interface device sets a processing mode for job execution to an image processor. The user interface device includes; a specifying means for specifying a processing mode presented to the user before a processing mode is set, as a suggested processing mode; a generation means for generating suggested preview image showing a processing result obtained by processing image data in the suggested processing mode; a display means for displaying the generated suggested preview image; and a setting means for setting the processing mode corresponding to the displayed suggested preview image, to the image processor.
