<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device that is further saving of power consumptions, in a device where power consumptions during standby and operation are varied substantially. <P>SOLUTION: An output load 101 operates during the operation of a device and will not operate during standby. A switching regulator 100 supplies DC voltage Vcc1 to the output load 101. A DC output voltage control circuit 103 and CPU10 controls the outputs of the switching regulator 100, such that Vcc1 becomes lower in voltage at standby than at operation. An automatic load interruption circuit 104 interrupts the output load 101, when Vcc1 is made to be lower in voltage than a predetermined voltage.
